Vintage Looking Rugs + The One We Bought!
Well that was fast… if you read our last post, you know that getting a new rug for our living room was on my to do list for 2020 and here we are, two weeks later and I’ve already crossed it off the list. I honestly just found the perfect rug, at the perfect price and had to jump on it!
For some reason, I find rug shopping quite difficult (and I feel like I’m not alone). I can spend hours browsing every single online retailer until I’m positive I’ve found the perfect rug. Then, I search a little more just to be certain! We were really trying to find a rug that had the perfect mix of neutral, earthy, warm tones with a vintage feel. So in case you are also hunting for a new rug for your space, I’ve rounded up nine really good vintage looking rugs on a budget (most for less than $300 for an 8x10, what insane I know!).

We purchased Rug #2 from Overstock in an 8x10 and I’m completely in love! The rug is actually made by Loloi Rugs as part of their Layla collection in the Olive + Charcoal colour. They don’t actually advertise Loloi rugs on Overstock with the Loloi name, they have it listed as Alexander Home even though the product is the exact same (and it came with a Loloi tag!). I’m over the moon excited about the muted colours of this rug and how it makes our home feel so grounded.
We paired it with this rug pad and it adds the perfect amount of cushion to the rug and will help extend the life of it too.
It’s beyond perfect… eeee! What do you think? Now I really just need to paint those walls a warm white to complete our warm cozy main floor!
